Georg Riedel

Georg Riedel has composed the music for film adaptations of Astrid Lindgren's books. Among other things, he has composed "Ida's summer song" and "Du kéra lille snickerbo". Has also written the signature melody for the TV series about Alfons Åberg and appears on Jan Johansson's "Jazz in Swedish" - the best-selling jazz record in Sweden. Georg Riedel was born in former Czechoslovakia. The mother was Jewish and the family moved to Sweden to escape the Nazis in 1938.
